Ed Carroll ’85 discusses career in media with students

Ed Carroll ’85 (Communication & Media) visited campus on Sept. 19 to discuss his career in media and the paths that students might take in that field. Carroll, who is the chief operating officer (COO) of AMCtv Networks and helped green-light “Breaking Bad,” “The Walking Dead,” “Mad Men,” “Portlandia,” and many other programs, spoke to some 100 current students about new trends in cable television and offered career development insights and advice.
